The Lightning Protector Arrester, also known as a Metal Oxide Surge Arrester (MOA), is designed to protect electrical equipment from overvoltages caused by lightning or switching operations. It uses zinc oxide varistors enclosed in a composite polymer housing to absorb and safely discharge surge energy.
Compared to traditional gapped arresters, MOA provides better protection with faster response, lower residual voltage, and longer service life.
